Expert Alterations
Alteration Atelier prides ourselves on on our premier tailoring services, sculpting the dress to the body. You should not fit the dress- the dress should fit you. We ensure a close as possible to perfect fit with a series of fittings where the bride is given our undivided attention, a team of veteran seamstresses using advanced techniques to make your vision come to life, and a pressing and packing process to ensure your gown is ready to go down the aisle on the day of right out of the garment bag.
The Process
Finding Your Dress
Once you find the one, that’s where we come in! Fill out our contact form to request an appointment and begin your Alteration Atelier journey. We will get back to you with possible appointment dates, you may recieve an email or a phone call.
Fittings
Your first fitting will take place roughly two to three months before the wedding date. Each fitting begins with taking measurements, then you will be helped into your dress and Deb will begin the fitting. We typically conduct three fittings. You will be taught how to bustle, how to use bust tape if required, and be provided video tutorials for each.
Pickup
At the end of the third fitting you will schedule pickup. Your dress will be pressed and packed so it is prepared to travel and ready to wear right out of the garment bag. Then, you just have to sign the release form and be on your way to the big day!
Pricing
We do not publicize price ranges on our website due to the variable nature of our work. Every dress requires different amounts of time and effort, so prices vary greatly. You will receive a quote at the end of your first fitting, and payment is required at the second or third fitting depending on payment method. We cannot accurately estimate the cost of services before working with the dress, but if you have concerns please note that in the contact form so we can discuss.
